Carbon Steel Globe Valve (J41H/Y)
Valve Type: Carbon Steel Globe Valve
Model: J41H/Y
Actuation: Manual, Electric, Pneumatic
Connection Type: Flanged
Structure Type: Globe
Sealing Type: Hard Seal
Pressure Range: 1.6 MPa – 16.0 MPa
Nominal Diameter: DN15 – DN300
Common Materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel
Applications
Used for cutting off or regulating the flow of liquids, gases, or steam in industrial pipelines. Its hard-sealing design ensures minimal leakage and long-term reliability under high-pressure conditions.
Design & structural Features
The flanged carbon steel globe valve features a cylindrical valve disc as the closure element, with a sealing surface that can be flat or conical. The valve disc moves linearly along the centerline of the fluid flow. According to national standards, globe valves are primarily designed for full open and full close operations, though customized versions can also allow throttling and flow regulation.
The valve is suitable for pipelines with a nominal pressure of 1.6 MPa – 16.0 MPa and a working temperature range of -29°C to 550°C. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power industries for cutting off or connecting fluid flow. Available actuation methods include manual, gear, electric, and pneumatic.
Key Features
Simple Structure: Easy to manufacture and maintain.
Short Stroke: Quick opening and closing.
Reliable Sealing: Low friction between sealing surfaces ensures long service life.
