Working Principle & Features
Working Principle
The pneumatic diaphragm valve consists of a valve body and cover separated by a flexible diaphragm made of rubber or PTFE. When the diaphragm moves up or down, it regulates the flow through the valve, achieving flow control. When the diaphragm presses against the weir surface of the valve body, the flow is completely shut off, closing the valve. Pneumatic diaphragm valves are available in normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) configurations.
Key Features
Replaceable Diaphragm: Reduces maintenance costs and extends service life.
No Packing Box: Prevents external leakage.
Streamlined Flow Path: Minimizes pressure loss.
Elastic Sealing Element: Ensures zero internal leakage.
Straight-Through Fluid Passage: Reduces fluid resistance and wear.
Valve Body and Cover Isolated by Diaphragm: Protects the valve cover, stem, and other components from media corrosion.
Elastic Rubber Diaphragm: Provides reliable sealing with minimal closing force.
Valve body interior can be lined with various types of rubber to suit different media.
